Adjust the line to match a bank card’s short edge (53.98 mm).
Place a ring on the circle and adjust its diameter.
Measure your finger from above, then turn it sideways for the second measurement. Keep it lightly against the screen.
These are different directions. Both measurements help estimate the finger’s oval circumference.
Rest your finger flat and match the lines to its width.
Estimated circumference
The screen method is an estimate. Confirm with a paper strip or a jeweller.Wrap a narrow paper strip around the base of the finger. Mark where the ends meet, then measure that length with a millimetre ruler. It should feel snug and still pass over the knuckle.

How to get a more reliable measurement
- Measure an existing ring at its inner edge, or use a paper strip at the base of your finger.
- Measure again later in the day; temperature and swelling can change the fit.
- A wide band may feel tighter than a narrow band. Compare your result with the chart and ask a jeweller before ordering.
